Description
Designed in collaboration with Bafeo, our reliefs merge visual character with practical purpose, offering sound absorption alongside their sculptural appeal.
Each LUDISM piece draws from legends, myths and folk tales.
Len is the Polish word for linen—a fabric that, in Slavic culture, is more than just a material. It’s a spirit, rooted in fertility and the promise of a rich harvest. A silent thread connecting nature and prosperity, len embodies the quiet symbols of growth and abundance.
Made and designed in Poland by Ola Niepsuj, Karol Pasternak and Piotr Maciaszek.
Legend Behind
In Slavic folklore, linen wasn’t just fabric—it was woven with the very threads of myth. Flax was believed to carry the spirit of the earth itself, and those who tended it were said to be in harmony with nature’s rhythms. Some stories tell of the flax flowers blooming only under the watchful eye of the moon, while others whisper of the goddess Mokosh, who blessed the harvest and protected the hands that worked it.
