Wielgòszë - Jéwa

Wielgòszë Adóm ë Jéwã (Giants Adam and Eve) are figures from Kashubian folk tales, believed to be giants of extraordinary strength whose deeds are said to have shaped the local landscape — as if hills and lakes were formed by their hands and feet. Sometimes they appear as protectors of people and animals, other times as moody, fearsome spirits, adding to the enchantment of Kashubian land and its rich, symbol-filled living culture.

The figures are made entirely from 100% recycled PET acoustic material, with no additional substructure, allowing them to be fully recyclable and aligned with sustainable design principles.

Legend Behind
In the mists of Kashubian memory, there walk the Wielgòszë — towering, ancient giants whose strength shaped the world. It is said that hills rose where they slept, rivers curved around the places they stood, and forests grew in the shelter of their shadows. Neither fully of this world nor beyond it, they appear in tales as both guardians and wild forces, protectors of the weak or harbingers of storms. To meet a Wielgòsz was to feel the pulse of the land itself — raw, vast, and alive with memory. Their silence was never empty; it carried the weight of centuries and the echo of things long forgotten. Still today, Kashubian soil remembers their steps.
