Syrena

Pressed wood figurine that serves as stick-candle holder, incense burner, bookend and artistic object. Each piece is hand painted, therefore unique.

Each LUDISM piece is inspired by legends and folk stories.

Syrena (Mermaid) is a water spirit portrayed as a beautiful woman. In Slavic folklore, she can be both enchanting and dangerous, luring unsuspecting victims to watery graves or guiding lost souls on their journey.

Made and designed in Poland by Ola Niepsuj, Karol Pasternak and Piotr Maciaszek.

Some say she is a muse, a guardian of nature’s beauty, while others warn that those who follow her song may never return.

In every ripple and wave, she reminds us of the mysteries hidden beneath the surface.
